Busselton Uniting Church recently welcomed 35 new people into their congregation. Church leaders joined newcomers for a sit-down meal and an opportunity to get to know one another.
Rev Andy Broadbent, Minister at Busselton Uniting Church, shared how the new people are a direct answer to prayer. Every week for the past three and a half years the church prayer group has asked God for more people to join the congregation.
They have come from a variety of different places including via the church’s various outreach programs. The dinner was held on a Friday night and the newcomers were officially acknowledged during the service the following Sunday.
